STORIES FROM PATINA MEADOW

AUTUMN'S ARRIVAL AT PATINA HOME & GARDEN

Autumn is my favorite season at Patina Home & Garden. While it signifies an ending—the falling leaves and crisp air marking the close of summer—for us, it serves more as a reminder of a beginning.

Come on in!

In the fall of 2022, we opened our doors for the first time. As we begin to stock our shelves with warm tones and fill the shop with the scent of fall candles, I’m transported back to those early days, reflecting on how much we've learned and grown.

Before I get too nostalgic (I'll save that for our two-year anniversary post in October!), let me refocus on this fall because we have so much beauty to share with you. Come along as I give you a tour of this season’s shelves.

Much has changed during our time in this old general store, but one thing remains constant: our commitment to bringing you items that elevate every aspect of your life, no matter how big or small.

As we continue to expand our selection, we remain focused on offering local goods that align with our values. Work from local artist Meghan Aileen and dried blooms from Leila's Bloomerie at Patina Meadow help us fill our shop with organic beauty and showcase the wonders of co-creation with nature.

While we love beauty, we also prioritize function, knowing our true passion lies where the two intersect. One space where this is most evident is our cooking & dining selection.

We've continued to grow our library of cookbooks to help you prepare delicious meals for your family. And if you're like me and find the "delicious" part a bit of a challenge, at least the meals will look beautiful in our cast iron collection, served on Cecile Preziosa ceramics, and complemented by our linen napkins & placemats.

While much of our selection is geared toward "grown-ups", we've begun to prioritize expanding our collection of intentional items for kids because we know how important they are. From practical items like natural skincare for their sensitive skin to books that unlock their imagination, we want to help the next generation thrive!

But our sense of service goes beyond just humans! If you haven't noticed our Patina Animal portraits and wide range of animal-themed books, we adore our furry friends. That’s why we’ve added more goods for them and our fellow dog lovers.

Around the corner in our Farm Shop, we’ve got you covered for every craving—whether you’re in the mood for fresh, organically grown tomatoes from Patina Meadow or your sweet tooth is calling. Beyond that, we seek out foods that will nourish your body and help keep you and your family healthy as seasonal sickness looms.

I hope you enjoyed peeking around Patina today! We are so grateful to be here to serve you in this season, no matter what it brings.

If you haven't stopped by to visit us in person yet, know you are welcome anytime! If you can't make it to our brick & mortar shop in Leiper's Fork, you can bring a bit of Patina to you with our online shop.

xx
